Week 2: Uruz (ᚢ) Strength and Vitality

Uruz represents physical strength, endurance, and primal power. It is connected to the wild, untamed force of the aurochs, a powerful wild ox that once roamed ancient Europe. This rune speaks of the raw, primal energy that sustains life and health, the kind of vitality that allows us to overcome obstacles and persevere.

In a spiritual sense, Uruz also represents inner strength the ability to face challenges with courage and resilience. Just as the wolf in the Hávamál must rely on its strength to survive, Uruz reminds us to harness our own power and vitality to achieve our goals.
