A group of birds, silhouetted against a heavy sky, perch atop a jagged rock formation along the coast. The scene is timeless—an unspoken meeting at the edge of the world, where silence and instinct guide the rhythm of life.

Journal Entry:
I don’t know why this moment stopped me, but it did.
A group of birds, gathering at the edge of the sky, framed by wind and stone. No noise. No movement. Just presence. It felt ancient. Like a meeting held a thousand times before I arrived, and that will continue long after I’m gone.
Sometimes I think we overcomplicate what it means to belong. We chase purpose. We grasp at recognition. But these birds reminded me sometimes just being there is enough. Sometimes the most important moments are the ones where we don’t speak at all, but simply stand beside others and witness the world together.
Legacy isn’t always an act. Sometimes it’s a posture. A place. A rhythm. It’s the quiet gathering of those who’ve weathered the same storms and still find their way back to solid ground.
Maybe this is what I hope for, too—to gather my people close at the end of the day. To be a familiar silhouette in their sky. To offer quiet company in a loud world. And to remind them they never have to face the edge alone.
